This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) of The Giustra Foundation (Canada) (“we” or “us”) was created to help you understand how The Giustra Foundation uses information that is collected from your computer and information you submit to The Giustra Foundation, whether through our website or otherwise. This Policy also applies to information collected and used by The Giustra Foundation via third party social media platforms.

By using our website, you agree to be legally bound by this Policy, as it may be amended from time to time. The Giustra Foundation may update this Policy at any time. We will make any changes to the Policy available on this page, and by using our website subsequent to any changes, you agree to those changes. Our website collects two types of information from you: (1) General Information; and (2) Personal Information.

We may use such information for the purpose for which it was collected. 
We do not share your email address, telephone number, or credit card/bank information with third parties.
We will not disclose any of your personal information to a third party, except in the following limited circumstances:

-    To carry out The Giustra Foundation’s mission. Specifically, we may share your mailing address with our affiliated entities, and certain third parties with whom we work, for use for a specific, limited purpose related to The Giustra Foundation’s mission and goals.
-    With your consent to disclose the information
-    To change hosts or when our host transfers business assets
-    To share it with agents or contractors who perform services for us
-    As permitted or required by law

If you prefer to not share your information as described above, please email us at any time at info@giustrafoundation.org.  Please note that communicating such a preference may limit our ability to interact with you and/or to facilitate your involvement with our activities.

Corrections/Updates:
Our website users have the opportunity to change any information previously provided to us through our website and/or to withdraw any consent given. To do so, please send us an email info@giustrafoundation.org. If you have registered to receive emails from The Giustra Foundation and later change your mind, you may contact us to have your name removed from our distribution lists by sending us an email through our Contact Page, or by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email sent from The Giustra Foundation. We will implement any such correction/update or withdrawal as is reasonable in the circumstances.

Our Commitment to Data Security:
Personally identifiable information is stored on our server and is not publicly accessible. Further, personally identifiable information is only accessed by The Giustra Foundation staff on a "need to know" basis. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Children:
Our website does not seek to collect any information from children. If a child provides us with information, the parent or guardian may notify us, and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to have the information deleted from our records.
